The mind is by far the most complexed item to deal with regarding your lifestyle improvements, however once you sort out your mind, everything else becomes very easy.
Where do you start? This is often the question we ask ourselves, but the question should be what do we want to achieve? Once you know what you want, anything is possible. Mind over matter is the key rule and positive thinking can heal your life.
Our top tips to improve your mind...
- Love yourself - do not put off exercising because you think your too fat, do not stay in the house because you think everyone looks at you in the street. Once you can accept yourself for who you are, then you are half way there in achieving your goals.
- Affirmations - If you need help loving yourself, or if you need help changing your thought patterns for an individual issue, affirmations are the way to do it. Start by simply saying to yourself everyday "I deeply and completely love and accept myself" and then move on to more > personalised affirmations which reprogram your way of thinking. Saying affirmations into a mirror also make them more powerful.
- Meditate - Take yourself to a quiet place and simply ask yourself "What is it that I need to know", or try > EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, aka tapping), vizulisations and other meditation methods.
